Dentiste! Dentist!

Alors aujourd'hui, pas de promenade en métro à travers la ville. Non, aujourd'hui je suis allé à l'hopital des dents. Pas de panique les amis. 
Comme je vous le racontais dans un précédent billet, va falloir faire de grands travaux dans ma bouche. Et comme vous le savez déjà peut-être, il m'est très difficile de rester assis plus de 5 minutes ; surtout pour un examen dentaire. Alors cet après-midi me vl'a parti avec Maman pour l'hopital des dents. On a vu une gentille dame qui nous a pris à l'heure. Elle a réussi a me faire un examen des dents assez rapide mais complet. J'ai été très sage. maman avait emporté l'ipad et me le tenait au dessus de la tête pendant que la dentiste essayait de pas se faire mordre. 

Ensuite elle nous a envoyé au sous-sol ou Sonia m'a fait une radio. Au début elle voulait utiliser une machine rotative mais comme je me tenais pas tranquille elle a trouvé une autre machine beaucoup plus rapide et 15 minutes plus tard on était de retour au premier étage avec la première dentiste. Elle a bien regardé mes radios, m'a encore fait ouvrir la bouche un peu... Ensuite y a le dentiste en chef qui est venu et il a dit a maman qu'il y avait pas mal de travail dans ma bouche. Un gros trou dans une dent définitive, un autre dans une dent de lait, du tartre en veux tu en voila et j'en passe. Bref, je suis bon pour l'annesthésie générale. Maman est livide.. mais il va falloir en passer par la. Le dentiste chef a dit que ça prendrait qu'une demi journée. 
Prochaine étape c'est une rendez-vous avec l'annesthésiste le 15 décembre. Le grand jour il faudra que je sois à jeun... encore une première! On vous tient au courant!

So, today, no train travel around Londontown. Nope... today I went to the tooth hospital. Don't panic! 
As I was saying in a previous post, I need a lot of works (I mean, my teeth) and I can't stay seated for more than 5minutes, particularly for a dental exam. So anyway, we went to the Eastman Dental Hospital where they have a paediatric wing full of monkeys and nice toys to play in the waiting room. A dentist saw us on time (great for NHS) and was super nice with me. Maman held the ipad while she was examining me trying not to get bitten. She could assess me quite well and sent us quickly to the X ray department 2 floors below. We met Sonia who was super nice with me as well and explained to me the rotative machine she wanted to use but as I could stay immobil she used another machine like a camera. Maman helped and within 10 more minutes we were back with the first doctor two floors above. Theeeeeen we had to wait for this doctor to talk to the chief dentist who confirmed that I need a "GA" (general anesthetic) to be able to carry on the works... I have 2 holes in my mouth and one is on an adult tooth. I have a lot of plaque and probably some other problems that they'll be able to see when I'm out... The chief said that the whole thing will take half a day but that first I had to go to another appointment with the anaesthesist and then on the big day, go starving of course. That's going to be a first as well!
