Le week-end des exploits - The exploits weekend

Aujourd'hui, nous avons eu le workshop avec Steven. C'est notre consultant et il vient tous les 3 mois en personne depuis la Rrrrroumanie (faut rouler le R) pour faire le point avec l'équipe. Dans nos réunions bi mensuelles par skype on lui avait dit qu'il allait être vachement épaté par les progrès de Natan donc ce matin il a arrivé avec des attentes assez élevées. Il a pas été déçu. Natan a performé comme un malade. Steven a dit qu'il était très impressionné par ses progrès. Nida a aussi fait beaucoup de progrès. La dernière fois (sept) le programme était encore nouveau pour elle et très dense. Ça été difficile pour elle de tout assimiler. Elle a fait beaucoup de doublons avec Andrei pour apprendre un maximum de techniques et ça paye clairement. Comme elle fait majoritairement de l'académique les progrès sont aussi notables. Natan a fait un bon en math et en compréhension. Son language s'est développé et a gagné en clarté aussi. Steven était ravi. Il a félicité tout le monde. 

Il est certain qu'avec tous ces progrès on est un peu moins pressés de lui trouver une école... Sur ce bon weekend!

Hello friends,

So today we had our first workshop day. Steven is our consultant. He lives in Romania and comes every 3 month to see how things are going. In between, and every other week we have a skype meeting to discuss on going business and add/remove stuff from Natan's very big program. The program tackles academic, community, self help and so on. Very big and complex and Natan is taking it very well considering. Steven was very impressed by Natan's progress. His expectations were quite high this morning when he arrived as we told him that Natan was performing very well. Still, he was impressed by his progress and by the things that he has retained. NIda was properly acknowledg as she did all the academic work. The learning curve for her was difficult because she had to get used to a very big program and a new child. She did a lot of double ups with Andrei to learn techniques and instructional control and it obviously gives a lot of results. Natan's language also has gained in clarity and has developped a little bit

It's now getting more obvious that the homeschooling is going to be favoured for the time being. We are still looking for a school but for the next academic year now.
