Debriefing americain

 

 Coucou les amis. Devinez ou j'ai passé mes vacances... Alors oui,j'ai fait mon baptême de Grosse Pomme. C'était top, même si pas évident tous les jours. Maman m'avait prévenu aussi. New York ça va pas être facile pour toi mon gars. Il y a beaucoup de bruit et ça ne s'arrette ja-mais. Consolation, j'ai découvert le trés bruillant métro (j'ai appris le mot subway d'ailleurs) newyorkais et c'était vraiment chouette. J'ai fait la connaissance de Miss Liberty. Papa est né au même endroit qu'elle dites donc! On a pris le bateau pour aller la voir et on est monté tout en haut par un escalier en colimaçon très étroit. On a tout monté à pied dites voir. On a aussi pris beacoup les Yellow Taxis, (mais c'etait plus pour me faire plaisir, et pi quand Maman était fatiguée aussi). Papa a découvert la High Line et Maman a découvert Hudson Yards et son "Vessel". Un nouveau quartier à l'ouest de Manhattan. 
Après 4j vraiment intenses on a enfin quitté la folle ville pour se mettre au vert, littéralement, dans le connecticut. Là, on a pu se reposer et enfin écouter le silence. On a fait de grandes marches dans la forêt tous les jours et je me suis enfin détendu. J'avais plus les "petits yeux" comme quand je suis très inquiet. Et puis, à NY, je mangeais tout le temps aussi, signe que je suis vraiment angoissé. Voila. On est tous bien rentrés et je suis retourné à l'école ce matin avec une nouvelle maitresse, Miss Alicia. Guess where I've been for Easter break? So, yes, I finally discovered the Big Apple. It was really cool, even if it was a bit difficult sometimes. Maman warned me. New York is not going to be easy pal. There is a lot of noise and it never stops. The silver lining was that I rode a new subway system. Loads of letters and numbers lines. Really cool. I loved it. Although it was really super noisy and clangy sometimes. I also met Miss Liberty. She was born in the same town as Papa! We climbed all the way to the crown via a very narrow spiral staircase. Papa discovered the High Line and Maman discovered the new neighbourhood called Hudson Yards. There is a very weird structure called the Vessel there where we had a lot of fun climbing up and down the stairs. I rode in the bumpy Yellow taxis and loved it.
After 4 days of high octane visit, we left the crazy city to go and finally unwind in Connecticut. No noise, just us and the trees. I finally could relax. My eyes, that were almost entirely shut because of stress, finally opened and I stopped stress-eating as well. 
We came home safe and sound and I'm back at school today with a new teacher, Miss Alicia. So I leave you to it, gotta go!
