Show ! Pestack!

 

Aujourd'hui était un grand jour parce que j'ai participé à ma première "Assembly". En gros on faisait un petit pestak pour montrer aux parents ce qu'on a appris ce trimestre sur le thème de l'Egypte. J'avais travaillé dur pour apprendre la petite danse Egyptienne que j'ai fait à deux reprises au cours du petit show. La première fois j'ai regardé Joana mais la deuxième fois j'étais super au point. Entre les deux je suis retourné en coulisse pour attendre mon tour. J'aurai eu du mal à rester assis pendant aussi longtemps. A un moment, j'ai même aperçu Maman dans le public. J'ai lâché un "home" et me suis éclipsé. Tout le monde était bien plus détendu après la représentation. Joana tremblait beaucoup moins et Maman ne pleurait plus. Moi j'étais très content de moi aussi. On est rentré avec Alexa (qui était venue me voir) et pour fêter ça on a fait des crêpes! Même que j'ai eu droit d'en manger! Tiens, en bonus une petite vidéo!

Today was a big day because I took part in my first assembly. Basically we did a little show for our parents to see how well we learnt about our topic this term: Egypt! As you know I worked really hard during the holidays to be able to perform like this. I did it twice. Between the 2 performance I went backstage to wait as it would have been too difficult for me to stay and wait that long. I even caught Maman watery eyes in the public and said "home" before leaving the stage. Everybody was relieved after the performance, Miss G and Joana were breathing again and maman stopped crying. I could say I was quite content myself of what I've done. We came home with Alexa (who came to see me perform) and feasted on some home made pancakes. I eat a lot as I was famiched !
