C'est samedi - It's Saturday

Coucou du samedi. Ma première semaine après les vacances s'est passé sans heurt ou presque. Hier je suis rentré avec une petite bosse. Je me suis tapé la tête contre ma chaise. Si j'arrétais de me balancer dessus aussi... C'est la première fois que je reprends aussi bien après une coupure. Avant, il me fallait au moins la semaine entière pour me remettre dans le bain. Tout le monde s'accorde à dire que je fais de bon progrès.

Jeudi c'était la grosse réunion mensuelle à la maison. J'ai croisé tout le petit monde en rentrant de l'école. Laila est encore contente de mon mois. Elle était tellement en forme que le programme de novembre est bien chargé! Je commence une nouvelle méthode de math. Je suis TRES en retard à ce niveau la. J'ai beaucoup de problèmes avec les chiffres (merci maman) et je ne sais toujours pas faire une addition. Laila a trouvé ce nouveau programme ; touch math qui me permet de visualiser et de toucher les chiffres grâce à un système de points, dessinés sur les chiffres. Cliquez ici pour un exemple. On espère que cette fois-ci ça donnera un peu plus de résultat. Je suis assez réfractaires aux chiffres (Papa pleure déjà ) ; je préfère la lecture. 
On va aussi faire nos propres livres d'histoire. Tout le monde va prendre des photos de moi et on va faire des albums avec des commentaires que je pourrais lire. Ensuite, on s'en servira pour les "WH" questions : what, where, when, why etc... Maman va s'amuser et moi aussi. Tous les lundis j'en collerai un peu avec Joana à l'école. Ça va aider à ma compréhension.
Au rayon des progrès aussi, j'essaie vraiment de faire des phrases entières. Tout seul. Ce matin, je regardais des photos avec Papa et je disais : Natan is museum, Natan is train. Il ne me manque vraiment pas grand chose!
Autre nouveauté, je vais commencer à aller à la synagogue. Je vois déjà le large sourire de mes grands-parents. On va y aller d'abord dans la semaine, quand il n'y a personne. Maman a dit à Laila que j'aimais bien et en plus le vendredi soir j'arrive même à réciter un peu de la prière pour le pain. Et puis après tout ça fait aussi partie de moi non? Alors en avant! On va aussi aller au nouveau centre à côté de la maison. Ça me changera du O2 Centre!

Hello dear fans. Well, my first week back was a real success or else... Yesterday I still came back with a little bump on my head following a little stunt on my chair. But today it was already gone. I still came back with a nice sticker at home! That's the first time as well that I have such a nice school come back. Usually it takes me more than a week to settle down. Everybody agrees that it's a nice improvement.

Thursday I saw all the home team when I came back from school. It was workshop day and Laila was super psyched about my school progresses. Although I mand (request) much less at school I am still getting there in terms of inclusion and happyness. I am going to start soon to increase my time INSIDE the classroom. My teacher, Miss G is also going to interact with me more and more. So Laila devised a nice and busy program for the coming month. I am going to start a new math program called Touch Math. That basically allows me to visualise and touch the numbers thanks to a point system. Have a look at this worksheet as an example. I have a real problem with numbers (thank you maman) and still hasn't grasped the concept of adding. Papa is already quite worried  ! I clearly prefer reading! 

We are also going to build our own story books. Everybody is going to snap photos of me doing stuff and then we'll put them in scrapbooks with comments for me to read. Then we will use them to teach me the famous "WH" questions: why, what, where, when etc... Maman is going to have fun ! And myself as well as I will have the task to cut and glue them every Monday at school with Joana. It's also going to help me with comprehension when I read.
Another progress as well: I am REALLY trying to do complete sentences independently. This morning I was watching pictures and I was saying : Natan is museum, Natan is train. I am almost there !!!!!
Another novelty. I am going to start to go to synagogue. That's part of my program! My grand parents are going to be extatic ! I am going to start to go when there is no service so I can familiarise myself with the place and the fact that I have to sit still and quiet. I am already quite sensitive to my Jewish heritage as I love to do the candles on Friday. I can even recite a little bit of the prayer on the bread. That means something right? There is also the big JW3 right next us. So that could be a nice change from the O2 centre!
